Rip N Rio Z Hanoverian & Dragon (Inn The Mean Time) Thoroughbred Mare Due May 24, 2022

Dragon, (Inn The Mean Time) is a 2014 bay thoroughbred mare. We got her from a friend off the track, she was never raced as she didn’t have a desire to run. She has a very easy going temperament, and was easy to start under saddle when we helped the trainer from the track put the first couple rides on her before she went to northlands to train. We are hoping to use this mare for lessons down the road as well as a potential broodmare depending on what she has next spring. We like how she is put together, nice and compact, with solid joints and feet. Her pedigree has great names like Damascus, Buckpasser, and MR. Prospector. Her SIRE Nicholas DS on the track was a stakes winner, earning $222,151 in career earnings. Her DAM Inn Between, was a Kentucky bred mare with 35 starts placing in 16 of her races with earnings of $162,297 she was sold in an auction for $60,000 after her racing career. Her DAM’S SIRE is Quiet American a multiple graded stakes winner, with life time earnings of $754,000 and was sold as a yearling for $300,000.
We crossed Dragon with our stallion Rip N Rio Z, she is one of the first mares due April 30, 2021. We are hoping this Hanoverian Thoroughbred cross will make a lovely sport horse cross for the hunter/jumper rings.

Cree & Luciana Z, Zangersheide Mare Due June 20, 2022

Luciana Z is a Zangersheide mare, who is also full sister to Latte Z. We bought a couple years ago she is an older mare but we hope we will get a couple more foals off of her before she retires. So far we have had one Colt by Cree from her, Classic Chrome who was born in 2020, we loved this cross so she is bred back the same way for 2021. Her sire is Lucino Z, who is also the sire of Leeto Z standing at Rosenol performance Horses. Lucino is from a great line of sires that include his father Landlord Z who is by Landgraf I. By the end of the 1980's, Landgraf I was rated best amongst all sires that had stood at stud in West Germany, and his sons can be found in most breeding regions throughout the world. Landgraf I became the most important sire of show jumpers in the twentieth century having sired the most money winning show jumping offspring in the World. Luciana’s Dam is Lapiana Z bred by Okanagan Showjumping stables and full sister to their mare Leah Z, and out of one of their foundation stallion Le Sauvage.
