Rip N Rio Z Hanoverian Stallion

Picture

New Horizon Ranch purchased Rip'n Rio Z a 17hh, registered Hanoverian Stallion May 2020. He is the son of Olympic Qualified Show jumper, Rio Grande, former mount of Canadian Olympic Gold Medalist, Eric Lamaze. Rip'n Rio Z himself has competed successfully in Jumper Classes at the Gold Level to 1.25m in his younger years. He is a brave, talented jumper with three impressive gaits and a temperament second to none, can tie him in an arena and ride a horse right past him and he doesn't even blink. Most people don’t realize he is a stallion as he is so well mannered. Rip'n Rio Z stamps his offspring with his talent, rideability, willingness to work, beautiful movement and conformation. Many of his offspring are competing successfully in all rings with previous owners. We have had 4 foals from him in 2021, and have a couple for sale on our website. Please inquire if interested in breeding to Rio for 2022 breeding season to book your spots before they fill. Rio bred 16 mares last year and got 14 of them pregnant most on the first heat cycle. His semen was evaluated at Delaney’s Vet September 2021. The veterinarian was very impressed with the quality of his raw, and fresh chilled semen especially for his age. With that we are offering some cooled shipped semen for the 2022 breeding season, as well as live cover at our farm.
Live foal Guarantee, Stud fee $800, Booking fee ($200 included)

Bud  (Skookum Masterpeace)

Bud is our appendix paint stallion. So far we have had 10 foals from him which are beautiful sport horse crosses with our mares. Bud has gorgeous movement with lots of cadence that adds athletic ability, and a nice uphill  presence. Some of his previous offspring have been quite successful in dressage and hunter/jumper as well as used for 4H.  He stamps all of his foals with his wonderful temperament and athletic abilities.

Rest In Peace Bud 1999-2021
