Summer Camps/Lessons 2023

Riding Lessons:
English/ Western/ Jumping/ Dressage

We will be running weekly lessons March-October, weather depending.  Make ups can be arranged the same week, if requested and time allows or the lesson can be forwarded.  Lessons are purchased in packages of 6 at a time. This credit system will allow us to be more flexible according to weather and other cancellations. We can also accommodate riders who are unable to make a weekly commitment, for example (shift work or traveling out of town) We offer Private, Semi-Private, and Group lessons (Max 4 riders). We have lesson horses available or we can accommodate you on your own horse.

Supervised Lesson Horse Lease Option: To qualify for a lease option students must be taking a minimum of one lesson a week, they will get to use that horse for their lessons, and get first pick of that horse for shows. Students must be capable of catching, grooming and tacking up safely on their own.  This is a great option for intermediate riders to have the chance to work on and practice what they have learned in their lessons (flat only no jumping allowed).

Commonly Asked Questions

Are there lesson Horses Available?
Yes we have over 20 different lesson horses available for students of all levels!

Can I bring my own horse?
YES! We encourage you to bring your own horse to camp. We do require that they must be up to date on vaccinations, de-worming, and have no signs of illness. Any dangerous or sick horses will be sent home. All horses are kept in a group mixed herd setting in our 80 acre pasture where there is lots of room to move around. We recommend that any own horses are kept in the field, as this is where we ride sometimes.  This helps to keep the herd and your horse settled to make the rides more fun. Usually horses are dropped off the day before camp starts to give them a day to settle in. If this isn't your cup of tea no problem, we have lots of lovely lesson horses you are welcome to ride. There is a possibility if space is available of keeping some horses in a private dirt pen. You will need to supply your own feed and ride one of our horses when riding out in the field for safety.  As we ride multiple times a day sometimes you will be riding lesson horses as well as your own, as to not wear them out.

What should I bring to Camp?
  • Riding gear (boots, helmet, proper leg wear etc.)
  • Tack if you're bringing your own horse.
  • Rubber Boots (field can be wet if we get rain)
  • Sunscreen and bug spray
  • Snacks and drinks (lunch bag)
  • spare change of clothes in case you get wet or dirty :)
Sleep Over Night! (Last night of every camp)
  • Sleeping gear(pillow, sleeping bag, cot) *can provide some if needed please let us know ahead of time.
  • toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, other toiletries
  • pack a lunch for the last day (breakfast provided)

Do I Have to stay the night?
No, you are not required to stay the night.  You can stay and participate in the campfire/games in the evening and get picked up before bed, or go home at the normal time in the afternoon. Totally up to the comfort level of the participant. We don't mind, sleeping over isn't for everyone, we understand. :)
Adult Camp

This camp runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily, on a weekend. Adult camp is always based on the skill level of the participants and may include jumping, dressage, games, and trail rides. The choice of what to focus on is left up to the group. Mostly, this weekend is about having fun with horses and getting away for a weekend.
